Here is another entry in my "draw verbs not nouns" project. Today's verb is "jumping".

the girl sure looks enjoying this simple and primitive games! I show the school boys and girls to play it too, rather than playing trading cards.

Great one Ryan. I love her action pose. She also looks like she could be dribbling a basketball, playing with a yo-yo, dancing....it is a great pose.

I like the rendering of the ground, too.

Thanks for your comments everyone!

May -- You know, I never even thought about whether kids still play hopskotch. I'd like to think they still play hide and go seek, kick the can, and all the stuff we used to do when I was kid I guess.

Thank you Kate, and the ground was the easiest part, go fig! Yo-yoing... I think I have my verb for today.

Hee hee.. fun Ryan!! I specially love the hair :o)

Here they call it El avion, the airplane... maybe us because of the shape of the drawing.. who knows?!

El Avion huh? I learned something today. 8 )

We used to make extreeeeeemely long and complicated hopsckotch grids (what do you call it anyways?). This was before video games were invented.

Hey Kate! Yes, I know, I'm a Lame-O. And my life is nowhere near as busy as yours.

Kathleen Rietz said...

I just need my "fix". : )

Right now you are on my list of "lame" bloggers. But you could change that, you know. It's up to you Ryan. Do you want to be lame? Or do you want to inspire the masses with your cool drawings? Think about it Ryan. I will wait to see what you decide.
