"I'd had
enough. They'd killed my partner. They'd kidnapped my girl. But this... this was the last straw, they'd smashed Ma's cookie jar."
The topic this week is "Enough". I thought about having a smashed chair, and kitchen table in the scene, but it just looked too cluttered. Let me know what you think.

Really like this, the underworld / gangster theme works really well with your characters. I think you might lose the cookie jar outline which is great if your added more to this. (I agree about adding a further bunny scene to my post but ran out of room on the paper and was a bit lazy!)
Are you kidding? I love a good story! Great fun!
No way! Not ma's cookie jar!!!
You're funny!
Nobody, but NOooobody messes with Ma's cookie jar! This is fantastic. I LOVE the chalk outline. Too funny!
ps. I like it just the way it is. No need to add anything more.
This is so cool! I love it when there's a different take on the prompt! You rocked this one!

How dare they those dastardly villians! Great expressions!
Great scene and story. The characters have great expressions too :) I like your style. Thanks for visiting my blog. Yes I used watercolour pencils. How about you/ are these coloured pencils?
Hilarious! Lately, I always check out your blog when I need a chuckle
Wow, thanks for your comments everyone! I was thinking of doing a series of crime scene drawings, and after the response this one got I've decided to do it. Now all I need is the time.
You folks should check out Susan Gysin's blog, she has some amazing pencil drawings posted there. WOW.
Shannon -- I do pencil sketches, then scan them, and colorize in Photoshop on a semi-transparent layer (or layers). Sometimes it looks like colored pencil, sometimes pastels.
Carli -- Thank you! I love to make people laugh. 8 )
great idea! :)
a wonderful scene, very clever response to the word
Great illo! Nice touch with the cookie jar outline.
I can't tell from the image, but is that the perp outside the window?
And Tom wins the observant prize for being the only one to notice the perp returned to the scene of the crime. It was a lot easier to spot in my hi-res version.
*GOLF-CLAP* for Tom everybody. 8 )

Oh,no! That's inexcusable!
