Robert Klepner considered himself an average rhino. He liked ramming things with his head, wandering aimlessly through tall grass, but... he was terribly self concious of his tiny feet.

This week's topic is Pet Peeve.
It was bad enough that Cindy had been captured and enslaved as the monster's pet. The final indignation was that she'd been renamed Peeves. Monster thought it a hilarious play on words.
This is from a children's book concept I'm working on. Eventually I'm going to get published, and I have enough concepts in the works to keep me busy for years. Someday...
As always I hope you will visit my website to view more examples of my work at www.ryanloghry.com, and please visit my retail store at www.ookybizniz.com, thank you for visiting.

The Illustration Friday topic this week is Heavy. Robert Smellman is no light-weight. Plus, his mother packed her special homemade poundcake in his suitcase.

This weeks topic was Garden. I had a solid concept right away, but after I did my pencil drawing I decided to do something different. This time I tinted the drawings in Photoshop to give them a brownish sepia toned look. Then I did my usual color painting over the top, but this time I turned the opacity way down so it would be less dominant. Anyway, I hope you like it.
